Marijke Dunselman, Managing Director
Marijke Dunselman, Marketing Consultant, Trainer and Managing Director of Strategies Marketing Consultancy Ltd, set up the company in Queenstown in 2006. Prior to that, she worked as a marketing consultant for SMS Ltd, as Manager of Tourism Southland, in Management Training & Development for Heineken and in market research and education.
Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in International Marketing, a Diploma of Teaching and she has studied for a Master of Entrepreneurship at the University of Otago.
Marijke is a preferred presenter for the Enterprise Training Programme and has developed a range of Tourism Marketing workshops aimed at tourism operators. She has been presenting these workshops throughout the South Island for the past eight years. Several new workshops have been developed recently under Smartraining.
She emigrated to New Zealand from Holland in 1994. Her spare time activities include skiing in winter and windsufing in summer.

Nigel Kerr, Associate, Consultant
Nigel Kerr has joined Strategies Marketing as an Associate having recently moved to Queenstown from Wanaka. Nigel has over 20 years experience in Marketing with Cardrona Alpine Resort and St George Trust. He has also brings experience in events, project management, media and compliance to Strategies Marketing Consultancy.
Having started out as a ski instructor training and presenting material is second nature and enjoyable. He admits that his previous time spent studying geology has not proved to be very relevant to anything he has done later in life. He is currently studying for a Bachelor in Applied Management.
Recently Nigel has been creating a tool kit of short mentoring papers for small business operators in marketing and systems. His spare time is about family, or when that’s not on getting out on his bike or into the hills.

Sarah Cook, Associate, Graphic Designer
Sarah has worked for Strategies' clients for the last four years.
She studied for 2 years at the Southern Institute of Technology in Invercargill and received a Diploma in Computer Graphic Design. Since finishing her studies in 2002 she has been working as a freelance Graphic Designer.
She particularly enjoys logo design and the design process of seeing something from early concept stage through to the finished product.
She has been married to Jono for 7 years and in 2007 they welcomed their daughter Kya into their family.
