Explore Ulva Island Bird Sanctuary with Ulva's Guided Walks on Stewart Island.

Ulva Island is an idyllic, predator-free bird sanctuary for rare and endangered bird and plant species, a paradise for birds and bird lovers located in the southern-most island of New Zealand, Stewart Island.

Ulva Goodwillie, your guide, who is named after the Island, is a direct descendant of the first Maori peoples of Stewart Island. She is passionate and very knowledgeable about this special place and would love to share it with you... We will provide you with a unique experience, learning about native flora and fauna from a Maori and local Stewart Island perspective.

Guided walk duration: 3+ hours. (incl. 7 minute water taxi ride to Ulva Island Bird Sanctuary and back)
 
Max: 12 people per group, but smaller groups are preferred.  Larger groups by arrangement
