November 2009 - Nigel Kerr joins Strategies Marketing Consultancy

Nigel Kerr has joined Strategies Marketing as an Associate having recently moved to Queenstown from Wanaka.  Nigel has over 20 years experience in Marketing with Cardrona Alpine Resort and St George Trust.  He has also brings experience in events, project management, media and compliance to Strategies Marketing Consultancy. 

Having started out as a ski instructor training and presenting material is second nature and enjoyable.  He admits that his previous time spent studying geology has not proved to be very relevant to anything he has done later in life.   He is currently studying for a Bachelor in Applied Management. 

Recently Nigel has been creating a tool kit of short mentoring papers for small business operators in marketing and systems.  His spare time is about family, or when that’s not on getting out on his bike or into the hills. 

June 2009 - TRENZ a success

Last week, Karen Mc Bride and I attended TRENZ (the 10th time for me!) in Auckland on behalf of Mt Cook Ski Planes and Heliworks Queenstown Helicopters. It was quieter than previous years as there were fewer buyers and sellers. The quality of the buyers however were high and serious about doing business.

Positive vibes overall for the coming season. It is definitely a time to keep marketing your products so that when the world economy improves, you will have a head start over your competitors!

www.tranquillitylodge.co.nz : Tranquillity Lodge is a beautiful Boutique B&B located in Kingston (near Queenstown) right on the shores of Lake Wakatipu.
www.lauderstore.co.nz : Lauder Store Accommodation is a fully restored historic building in Lauder, Central Otago. It is on the Otago Central Rail Trail and sleeps upto 14 people. A lovely accommodation property!
