Tip 6: Send regular emails but don't send too many as this will result in people unsubscribing. Ask your customers how often they'd like to receive a message from you to ensure you don't overload them!

Tip 10: It takes commitment to write a regular e-newsletter. I see many businesses starting to write email newsletters and then give up after a few months. If you struggle with writing regular newsletters, set a couple of hours aside and plan a year's worth of monthly newsletters, including topics, specials etc.
