Marijke Dunselman is an experienced tourism business & marketing consultant, trainer and conference speaker. She has run her own consultancy and training business for over 20 years and has worked with hundreds of tourism businesses and other organisations to help them improve and grow their businesses.
Prior to working as a marketing consultant, she was Manager of Tourism Southland (a Regional Tourism Organisation), worked for several corporates internationally, including Heineken, Randstad, KLM (Dutch airline) and in market research and education.
Her qualifications include:
MEntr (Master of Entrepreneurship)
Bachelor of Business degree majoring in International Marketing
Diploma of Teaching - Secondary School (majoring in French & Economics)
Over the years, Marijke has worked with a large number of tourism businesses and other organisations in the South Island. She understands the markets and products well and thoroughly enjoys working with operators.
Marijke has a passion for training and has developed and presented a series of workshops and training programmes throughout New Zealand. She is a registered presenter and business coach for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (now MBIE).
She has also been running an international marketing group for 16 years to help operators connect with inbound tour operators and wholesalers. She's attended TRENZ 18 times.
Marijke grew up in the Netherlands, France and the USA and speaks four languages. She emigrated to New Zealand in 1994.

Jessi, the office lab!
And last but not least - here's Jessi the office dog. She was born in November 2013 and is a black Labrador. Jessi is a Pet Therapy dog and loves visiting the local rest home in Queenstown.
